The Longest Ride
A Family Fun Ride For The Alzheimer’s Association

Ride Event Plan

Because COVID-19 may continue to have an impact on people assembling together by June of this year we have decided to make the following changes to the 2021 Longest Ride:

1)               All riders who register for the Longest Ride at the web page: http://act.alz.org/goto/LongestRideTeam can start their fundraising immediately as usual.
2)               This year riders will not have to wait for the summer solstice in June but riders may start riding and accumulating their ride mileage starting May 15th and ending June 19th.
3)               Riders may keep track of their mileage on a Mileage Tracking Form that will be emailed to you when you register with an email address.
4) Completed Mileage Tracking Forms must be sent to the ride captains by email or delivered to them in person socially distanced on June 19th at Anderson Point Park between 9:00AM and 12:00PM.
4)               A copy of the official Mileage Tracking Form can be found at the team web page:https://TEAMLONGRIDERS.page.tl/MILEAGE-TRACKING-FORM.htm Only those riders who use the official Mileage Tracking Form will be considered for awards.
5)               Riders are welcome to ride at Anderson Point Park on Saturday June 19th but there will be no support or lunch provided, so you will need to bring your own hydration and nutrition.
6)               This year only the first, second, and third place longest riders will receive an award for their effort.

The 2021 LONGEST RIDE, is a family fun ride to honor those who face Alzheimer’s with strength, heart, and endurance every day of their lives. This is only a small sacrifice that does so much to support programs and services for those living with Alzheimer’s disease.
